Hi!! I am currently in final year of my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. I have an experience in Designing, Manufacturing, Coding, ROS, and Simulation. I am a Robotics enthusiast and would love to explore varied domains like soft robotics, bioinspired robotics, swarm robotics and SLAM.
I am currently an undergrad student pursuing BTech in Mechanical Engineering at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) in Mumbai, India.
I had a strong interest in Physics and Biology in high school. But later after my 12th grade, I choose engineering as I was intrigued by the fact of designing and experimenting on inanimate things . And this feeling of eagerness augmented inside me. When I joined the institute, I was a bookwormish type of guy. Still, I tried to express myself out wherever possibly I could. From building a toy plane and a line following, self-balancing robot to reading up on new topics like shockwaves, aerodynamics, robotics, I did it all. I had no prior knowledge of coding. When the Pandemic broke out, it was a plus-minus situation for all. So I invested my time in improving my learning capabilities by taking up many projects of different applications. And at one point in time, for meeting several project requirements, I dived into a pool of different computer programming languages. And later I became a member of SRA.
Society of Robotics and Automation (SRA) is a technical student club at VJTI. It focuses on bringing awareness and having a hands on experience in Robotics and Automation. SRA conducts various workshops, seminars and competitions. It is not restricted to a particular branch of engineering.
It is due to SRA that I got to interact with students from different field of engineering but this field difference never became an obstacle for me. Within SRA, I got to work with various students and I experienced a sense of team bonding. In past, I gave lectures in workshops and seminars on various topics like Convolution in Image Processing, Inverse Kinematics, and CAD in SolidWorks. Currently I am working under projects inside SRA and mentoring juniors in their projects.
